Tonight I made spaghetti squash with meat sauce made from organic grass-fed expensive-as-hell meat. The more I read about the benefits of organic grass fed meats, the more gung-ho I become on spending way to much money on quality meat. My health is more important in the long-run than a few dollars spent here and there on groceries.
The meat was amazing but spaghetti squash just never quenches my desire for real fattening, calorie filled pasta......not the whole wheat, brown rice, or quinoa kind, but the plain old italian, thiamin mononitrate, terrible-for-you kind.
I must admit, the best part about eating a whole bowl of spaghetti squash is how light and happy you feel afterwards, like you just saved yourself from hating yourself the day after.
