Today I woke up and was rushed out the door, so I rinsed off some organic raspberries and grapes to eat in the car.
For lunch I had leftovers, that's the befit of cooking your own meals. There is always a ton of food leftover!
For dinner I pulled out 2 strips of frozen sirloin and thawed them out. It took an hour and a half and since they were already premarinated in olive oil and thyme I just broiled them on high for 20 minutes.
I also took an inventory of all the veggies I had in the refrigerator and grabbed an onion, some asparagus, a few mushrooms, and a handful of mini bell peppers to make a stir fry.
Now if you think it is difficult to cook vegetables and make them taste good.... You are wrong. Simply chop all of them up, toss in olive oil and fry them in a pan while stirring them around. When they seem soft enough to eat add salt and pepper! It's that easy!
The steak doesn't photograph well but it sure tastes splendid!
